Johann qualified as a dentist at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, in 1984. After many years of practicing in South Africa, he moved to the UK in 1998 and later settled on the Isle of Man in 2014 to be closer to his partner’s family. With over 38 years of experience in both NHS and private practices, Johann has built a strong reputation in preventative and restorative dentistry. He has a particular passion for cosmetic dentistry, especially crown and bridge work, and takes great satisfaction in helping patients regain their confidence through transformative results. Johann also enjoys caring for our Denplan patients and brings a wealth of knowledge and a personal touch to every treatment. Known for his calm and reassuring manner, Johann is excellent at explaining procedures clearly, helping patients feel informed and at ease throughout their dental journey — a quality highly valued by both patients and our team.
